In Spring 2006, ground was broken for a propelled new open park along the out of commission lifted High Line cargo - train tracks, worked in the 1930s. Underneath or more it, sparkling new private structures and inns are ascending in an amazing change of an area that was already known exclusively for its auto body shops and its craft exhibitions. The primary area of the recreation center, which runs keep running from Gansevoort Street to W twentieth Street, was booked to open in summer 2008 and, in a late improvement, the Whitney Museum of American Art has marked to manufacture a satellite exhibition hall at the southern end of the High Line.

The last train to utilize the raised High Line shook along back in the mid 1980s. At that point, for over two decades, this 22-piece long, three-story-high strip of rail on Manhattan New York's far west side, between Gansevoort Street in the Meatpacking District and 34th Street, was surrendered - a urban bit of hindsight made rich by nature. 

Two Chelsea inhabitants began pitching a basic idea to any individual who might tune in: Save the High Line and transform it into a lifted, urban desert spring. In May 2007 it began to end up a reality, with David Bowie curating the main ever High Line Festival, a workmanship fest observing High Line.

If you are visiting New York City, then walking the High Line is definitely something to do and it is also suitable if you are travelling to New York City with your family.
